About

Heather Miller

Metalsmith.  Artist. Geologist. Mentor.

Heather Miller’s custom designed hand crafted silver and copper jewelry began informally with creations for friends and relatives. Her works include uniquely designed copper creations, silver rings, earrings, pendants, glass and semi-precious stones.

Her growth as an artist has taken her to the realm of one of a kind works of jewellry art, including the use of fossils (purchased from reputable suppliers) amethyst, jade and garnet and other semi-precious stones.  Heather  runs her studio out of Calgary, Alberta where she spends her time creating jewelry and mentoring aspiring jewelry artists.

Silver and Copper Creations

Her artistic creations are worn by discriminating individuals in Western Canada, United States, Australia and Germany.

Silver Work

A gift of a rock tumbler at age ten and her creative nature sparked Heather’s passion for jewellery design. Advancing from a hobby she ventured into the world of metal working. Her design sense and silver smithing skills were further refined with the completion of the Jewellery Enhanced Skills Program from the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) in 2005. Her degree in the field of geology has built upon and enhanced this knowledge of working with metals and stone.
